Expensive Fruit
I bought an asian pear at the grocery store today. It came in a little foam home and despite claiming to be asian, my pear was actually Chilean in origin. It cost $1.99, but I think it was worth it. Very sweeeeet.

Mom says, "You used to love this fruit when you were a child. They were unusual then and you loved the crisp, juicy taste. Interestingly, the price hasn't changed. It was about the same then."
