Light My Way

If every household in the U.S. replaced one light bulb with an ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL), it would prevent enough pollution to equal removing one million cars from the road.

My parents were here last week and helped me out with some stuff around the house, including replacing the ten or so dead light bulbs that weren't doing much good. My mom is on-top-of-it when it comes to nifty little factoids like the one above, so one of my newly replaced light bulbs is a high-efficiency bulb by GE. You can join the Change a Light, Change the World campaign if you want to feel warm and fuzzy about doing something good for the environment (even if it's only a drop in the bucket...).
